Madeira Tour - Online Special Offer
These 3 tours will give you a good introduction to the differing nature of the entire island of Madeira.
We are often asked: What tour should I take to see the whole of Madeira in a day?
The answer is that Madeira is just too big and diverse to organise a single tour that will include all the main sights and places that our island has to offer.
So, we have come up with this special offer package that will give you an opportunity to visit and enjoy the highlights of Madeira Island at a reduced cost.
Booking details
Please note that you will only qualify for the saving of £5 per person if you book the package from this page. Booking the tours individually will mean that you will be paying full price for each tour.
When you place your booking, choose the date that you want for your first tour. We will then schedule your two other tours to follow on during the next few days. In this case, your three tours will be scheduled to be completed in a time span of 5 days or less.
If you want your tours to be spread over a longer time span than 5 days, or you wish to pick your own dates, then please enter your requirements at checkout when you complete your order on PayPal.
West Tour highlights
The highlight of the West of Madeira Island tour has got to be the natural, volcanic, sea water rocks pools of Porto Moniz.
As we make our way toward Porto Moniz, we shall stop at Cabo Girão. Here you have some marvellous sea views from the 580 metres high sea cliff that is the highest in Europe.
We also stop at Ribeira Brava and visit the Paul da Serra plateau where you have fantastic views stretching over the island.
East Tour highlights
Ribeiro Frio is a delightful village nestling in the heart of Madeira's ecologically important laurisilva forest. The village boasts a trout farm that you simply must see on your stop here.
Camacha is another choice stop on our East of Madeira tour. The village is famous for its wickerwork showrooms and also for being the location of the first organised game of football that was played in Portugal. You can visit the plaque commemorating that fact in the village square.
We also stop at Santana, home of the traditional, wooden framed, A-shaped thatched cottages.
The final stop is Machico on the south coast. This town has deep historical importance and is a place of legend.
Nun's Valley highlights
The half day excursion to Nun's Valley is one of our most popular tours.
Before your minibus descends along the winding roads that take us to the village sheltered by the steep valley walls, we will stop at the Eira do Serrado viewing platform.
From the Eira do Serrado viewpoint, you will be amazed at the lovely views of the rugged mountain tops, often shrouded in clouds, and the panoramic sweep of the valley that lies beneath you.
On this half day excursion, we will also stop at the Pico dos Barcelos which, from a height of 355 metres above sea level, offers you spectacular views over the Bay of Funchal.
