General information regarding our full day trips

All our full day trips have been specially organised in great detail to give you a broad example of what the Island of Madeira has to offer.

To start your day, we will pick you up from your hotel reception at a pre-arranged time. Usually, we will pick up our customers between 8:15am and 9:15am in the morning.

If your hotel is located in and around Funchal or the hotel Lido district, then the pick-up service is included in the tour price.

Enjoy a trip with personal service

Unlike some other tour operators, most of our trips are undertaken on 8, 12 or 16 seat mini-buses. This gives you a more personal service and allows you to enjoy more of the trip actually sampling the scenery and culture as the time embarking and disembarking is kept to a minimum.

Where appropriate our tours will include stops at recognised viewpoints to allow you the opportunity to sample, and take photos of, the spectacular scenery.

Each tour will also include stops where you will be able to wander around the locality and discover some of Madeira's history, culture and beauty for yourself.

All of our drivers are fully qualified and are dedicated professionals who take pride in making your tour both interesting and enjoyable. Our drivers will be indicating their own favourite points of interest throughout the day and will be adding their own personal touch that makes our service so special.

Lunch stops and other matters

Of course, each of our full day tours includes a lunch stop when you can sample the local cuisine at a choice restaurant. However, please note, the cost of lunch is not included in the tour price. Nevertheless, be assured that we choose our lunch stops with care and the restaurants will provide very reasonable menu prices.

Alternatively, you are perfectly free to bring a picnic with you or enjoy a quiet meal by yourself away from the tour party.

Please be aware that, since Madeira has a rugged and exposed terrain, your safety is our chief concern. Local weather conditions or other events may mean that we need to amend the itinerary. We only do this where it is unavoidable. However, in these cases, we will endeavour to substitute another stop or detour so that you are not deprived of the diversity that your chosen tour offers.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are staying at a hotel that is situated in another part of Madeira Island, then we will need to send an extra connection car to pick you up and there may be an additional charge - rest assured we will tell you if there is any extra charge prior to confirming your booking.
